Kelly McCarthy

Chief Executive Officer

Kelly joined Medinex with 20 years of investment banking experience. She began her career as a stock broker where she managed clients investments and made recommendations for their portfolio. She eventually moved into the syndicate role and became a leader in connecting issuers with their potential investors. From there she launched her own investment banking firm and for 10 years was successful in assisting start-up companies with board governance, business execution and the infusion of capital. Kelly has worked with over 200 companies and has spent significant time in the healthcare sector.  Kelly enjoys her family, philanthropy and red wine.

 


Thomas Meury

Chief Financial Officer

Thomas graduated with a degree in Biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and received his MBA from Northeastern University. He comes to Medinex with a 20 year background in operations and finance. Thomas has been the COO of a Swiss manufacturing company since 1988 and the CFO of InfusionCapital since 2003. In both companies, his role was critical to the success as he led both to profitability and assisted our clients in their financial model. Thomas enjoys food and travel.


David Marcantel, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Marcantel is a board certified ObGyn that has been in private practice since 2000. He is a graduate of LSU where he completed his undergraduate as well as medical school and residency. He has grown his practice with no outside capital from a one provider practice to a 7 provider practice with over 20 employees. He is an excellent physician that still works full-time as the busiest provider in his practice as well as a respected surgeon in minimally invasive surgery. He has built a business that is not only profitable but achieves great outcomes both clinically and in customer service. He is an astute business man that lends his clinical and business expertise to Medinex. He is an avid Saints and LSU Tigers fan and enjoys spending time with his 4 sons!


Von Goodwin

VICE PRESIDENT

Von has more than 30 years’ experience in the medical industry as a reimbursement analyst, trainer, project manager, practice manager, RCM director, consultant and coach.  Having provided professional services to well over 700 medical practices and thousands of providers and staffers, his focus has always been on outcomes; with an emphasis on staff motivation and simplified workflows.  As one client declares, “Von possesses an innate ability to read a room and put people at ease. Time and again I've seen him work through a training or consulting process, gaining consensus, addressing concerns, and mapping the path to resolution. He is the go-to-guy for clients with concerns or issues: He knows how to listen and translate their circumstances into resolutions.”  Von is an author, talk radio show host and enjoys entertaining family and friends at his home in Florida.


Sharell Gregory

MANAGER OF REVENUE CYCLE MANAGEMENT

Sharell has over 9 years of experience in medical billing and administration. She has hands on experience as the lead biller for a multi-physician practice and has proven expertise in increasing reimbursement with proper coding and fewer claim denials. Sharell is a certified medical administrator and is actively pursuing her bachelor's degree in Health Science. She has a passion for children. When she is not being a devoted mother and wife, Sharell volunteers at Give Kids the World.
